Wakeland High School Senior Photographer – Eryn

About 2 weeks ago, I got to photograph the beautiful Eryn from Wakeland High School in Frisco, TX.  She was the first of my senior reps (she is currently a junior).

Eryn is an amazing person!  Very smart, talented with a very easy-going personality. She has some large aspirations in life, including getting into the medical field with a focus on neurology. She is also a very talented Colorguard performer who has participated in many competitions throughout the state of Texas. She even showed me how she spun her “rifle”, which was so cool!  Eryn, I wish you the very best in your senior year, you will rock it, girl!

If you’d like to book a session with Keri Doolittle Photography, please visit my website for more information.

New Orleans Photographer – Gleason Visit 2013

Me and the boys headed to NOLA last week to have a quick visit w/ the Gleason’s.  The last time we came to New Orleans was two years ago, about a month after Rivers was born…not only do my boys look young in this post, but Rivers is so tiny! To this day, Ryland and Easton still call him “baby Rivers”.

The boys and I had such a good time catching up with Steve, Michel and Rivers!

The day started out with a quick trip to Cafe Du Monde and a tourist pic in front of “Princess Tiana’s Castle”.

After a quick walk though the French Quarter, we headed to Steve and Michel’s house to visit. Steve was slated to get a new computer installed, so Michel’s brother, Paul, and his wife, Hilary, and their kiddos came over for a bit.  Ryland and Easton had a blast playing with all the kiddos!
The next day we headed to Storyland, which is located in New Orleans City Park.  Little Miss CoCo (Paul and Hilary’s youngest) joined us for the adventure…her and Rivers are like two peas in a pod! After Storyland, we headed over to the snack area for some hot dogs and beignets!!  YUM-O!!!
YEAH!! We got to the see the Rebirth statue!  This statue was erected to honor Steve and the significance of his blocked punt again the Falcons in 2006.  It was more than just a blocked punt…it meant that New Orleans was BACK after the tragic Hurricane Katrina!Later that evening we gave the boys a choice of Haunted Ghost Tour or the NOLA Pelicans vs. Lakers bball game.  Well, the ghost tour won out…the kids were SO enthralled of the stories that plagued the history of New Orleans.  I am surprised they slept that evening.  :-)
Since Rivers was napping, we decided to hit up the new City Park mini-golf course…it was FABULOUS!  We learned a lot about NOLA along our way! Before we took off for Dallas, we headed over to the Gleason’s house one last time to hang out with the family. River, Ryland and Easton built one heck of a train track, then Rivers thought it was time to fix dad’s chair.  Another game Steve and Rivers played was “lets open and shut the front door while I run in and out of the house”…it was quite entertaining!Rivers has this new found love of tackle-football.  For about an hour he decided my boys should be tackled.  Below is a shot of Rivers taking down Ryland. Ha!  This might be one of my favorite pictures…Easton and Rivers wanted to see the chickens that were next door…Easton bent down and put his hands on his knees.  Rivers took one look at Easton and did the exact same thing…SO CUTE!!!Thanks again for an amazing visit!  So good to see everyone! Next time we won’t wait so long in between visits! Love to you all!! No White Flags!!

Frisco, TX Halloween 2013

The kids LOVE Halloween! This is one of their favorite holidays and will plan MONTHS in advance on their costumes. We usually have several Halloween functions to attend, so we get good use out of the costumes.  Mark loves to make Halloween dinner while the kids watch a scary movie before trick-or-treating. This year was ghostly pizza, mummies and jello with worms.  :-)  Enjoy the pictures!

Frisco, TX Sports Photographer – For the love of the game…

Sports is big here in the city of Frisco, TX…minor league baseball, pro soccer, minor league basketball, pro hockey practice and soon-to-be practice facility of the Dallas Cowboys. It is so nice to have everything within a 10 minute drive! So, naturally, we signed the boys up for sports before we even moved to Frisco.  Easton has a natural love for baseball, so I found him a last-minute league that had 1 more spot open…YEAH!  And, to top it all off, it was playing for the Yankees (Easton’s favorite team)!

If this boy could play baseball morning, noon and night, he would.  He is a natural.  Bats right-handed and throws left-handed, the perfect combination!  Here are a few pics of him playing for the Yankees…he has been playing 1st base.

Cordillera Wedding Photographer – Hannah and Matt

October, Rocky Mountains, Snow, Aspens…can’t get much better than this! Hannah and Matt picked an amazing weekend to be married at The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera.  Although the high was about 40 degrees, being at that elevation was actually quite warm!  Their wedding location looked over Edwards, Colorado and their reception was basically on top of the world.  Hannah and Matt reside in Fort Worth, TX, so this was a destination wedding for them…they had some amazing vendors and family who made their wedding absolutely perfect:
