  • Welcome to my blog! This is a place to showcase my work at Keri Doolittle Photography and share a bit about my family. We recently moved to Frisco, Texas after living 4 years in Colorado. We are adjusting nicely to the Texas lifestyle and I am excited to start photographing local seniors. I am now booking Class of 2014 and Class of 2015 high school seniors. Just a heads up that this will be a CRAZY month…I have tons of family pictures and weddings in October!!  So, I should have some fun blog posts ahead.  Actually, by the end of this week, I hope to have a sneak peek of a “Trash the Dress/Day After” session I did for one of my brides, we got some really cute shots!

I also plan on having a BLOG contest towards the end of the month…I want to give away some complimentary Christmas Cards for one lucky winner!!  Keep checking back for details!

A relaxing Sunday afternoon….

So, I thought I would show you what the Doolittle household does on a Sunday afternoon.  We get some chips, dip and Coke and watch football…all day long.  Well, that is, until I have to run off to a Sunday evening photo shoot.  Anyhow, my two boys looked so cute on Sunday, I just had to take a pic.

megan snyder - Um… Possibly the most precious/amazing picture I have ever seen. If I were you I would most definitely have this framed and up in the house. :) Hope you’re feeling OK and the heat hasn’t been too bad down there!

Shay Brackney - Keri – you don’t know me from, well, Adam. I’m friends with Rachel Peterson and a photog in Colorado…and a regular stalker of your blog…usually a silent one…but this photo…this photo inspires me to turn it up a notch…really…you can’t buy lighting or models like this – just stunning and emotional and tender and beautiful and I couldn’t keep my mouth shut. Amazing work…thanks for inspiring me to reach higher in my own artistic pursuits! :)

ASU vs. Georgia

First of all, I am a COUG!  Graduate of Washington State University.  I have no ties to ASU or Georgia, except for the fact that I live in Phoenix (close to Tempe) and my grandpa went to school at ASU.  We just went because it was a big game.  OK, if you have ever experienced ASU stadium in 100+ degree heat, you will know what I am talking about.  Just imagine 72,000+ fans at 5:00 PM (the hottest time of the day), standing the entire time while it is 100 degrees outside AND holding Ryland.  It smelled.  By the time the second half had rolled around, I was DONE FOR!  I had to get some “fresh” air, so I spent half of the third quarter in the concourse.  Anyhow, we still had a great time and got some fun pics of the HUGE stadium.  BTW, ASU did lose.  Sorry boys.

Jackie - I like the pics. Ryland and Mark match! The stadium is huge! Very cool! Love, The MOM

Look at these two cuties!

I got the pleasure of photographing some of our friends children yesterday.  They did GREAT!  Reagan is a 2.5 year old and Gavin is almost 6 months.  We took them to our local park around sunset and got some beautiful light to work with.  I also brought along Ryland and Mark so the kiddos could play a bit afterwards.  I still have a ton more to edit, but I thought I would put these cuties on my blog as soon as I could.  :-)

Fire Station Tour!!

We had a very busy Saturday!!  First we toured the Daisy Mountain Fire Station, which was a blast!!  Ryland loved all the big red trucks.  All day he kept saying “fire truck”, “fire truck”!  After a nice, long nap, we headed to the ASU vs. Georgia game, which was nice and HOT (I will post about that later)!!

Back to the subject at hand…we spent about an hour looking around the station.  We met some wonderful people who serve our community as the brave firefighters!  Ryland was able to sit in both the front and back of the fire truck, he didn’t want to get out.  The only thing he was a little nervous about was putting on the fireman hat and he was a bit scared once the fireman put on all his gear, although he did give him a high-five!  One of the pictures Ryland is looking high up in the sky, this is because one of the fireman climbed all the way to the top of the ladder!!!  Thanks for the great tour!!
