Frisco, TX Senior Photographer bio picture
  • Welcome to my blog! This is a place to showcase my work at Keri Doolittle Photography and share a bit about my family. We recently moved to Frisco, Texas after living 4 years in Colorado. We are adjusting nicely to the Texas lifestyle and I am excited to start photographing local seniors. I am now booking Class of 2014 and Class of 2015 high school seniors. Please visit my website to inquire about senior portrait packages and pricing. Thank you for following our little 'ole blog from Frisco, Texas.

Lunch with Santa

Today Janet and I took the kiddos to Lunch with Santa.  It is put on by the management team at the Norterra Shopping center in Happy Valley, AZ.  It is where the kiddos get a free lunch, free gift bag AND get to eat with Santa.  It was GREAT!!  Santa came and sat down with each kid and chatted with them for awhile.  It was a very relaxing atmosphere, which helped those kiddos who are a little bit scared of Santa.  Here are a few pics of Janet, Benjamin and Ryland with Santa.  Also threw in a pic of me and Ry…dang, I look like a frazzled pregoo lady!

A little Holiday Love…

We had a wonderful day this past week and I wanted to give some blog-love to these awesome companies.  We started the morning out by visiting the docs for a routine check up and then decided to go get Ryland’s haircut at Lollilocks. Our first trip to Lollilocks didn’t go so well, but this time, Ryland was a trooper!! He didn’t cry once. The lady who cut his hair was so nice and even gave Ry a little treat after his haircut. Thanks for the great experience!

Once we were done there, Daddy met up with us and took us to lunch at Macaroni Grill at the Desert Ridge Mall. To our surprise, the manager, Rick, knew Mark from basketball and decided to buy our lunch for us. HOW NICE!!! So, we had a SUPER FANTASTIC Italian lunch, for free! BTW – there bread is TO DIE FOR!:-)

Lastly, we followed up our lunch with a little Cold Stone Ice Cream. Ryland was the only one who got Ice Cream and the lady working only charged us .$75 for his little baby scoop of ice cream.

It just totally made my day seeing all these great places in the holiday giving spirit! Lots of times you can run into scrooges because of all the hustle and bustle that goes with the holidays, but we had a fantastic day. So, thank you to all these great places who contributed to our happiness! Merry Christmas!!

Chelsey - You must get Cold Stone for that baby in there! Mine couldn’t live without it. :) (Okay… so maybe pregnant me couldn’t live without it ;) lol)

The Line-up…

For the rest of the year, most of my post will be personal, family posts.  I am done with both family and weddings for the year, so it is time to spend some quality time with the fam and patiently wait for baby #2 to arrive!

One of Ryland’s ALL TIME favorite toys are his animals.  BEWARE…DO NOT touch the animals!!!  If you take one or move them out of position Ryland will not be a happy camper.  Both his cousins and the flight attendant on Southwest found this out pretty quickly.  These are very special to Ryland.  He naps with them and goes to bed with them everyday!  I have even gotten the pleasure of singing a bedtime song to EVERY one of the animals.  I wanted to get a few photos of Ryland and his troops so I can show him when he is older how special all these are to him.  Enjoy!

Our little rock star…

So, is a two year old supposed to know how to play Rock Band?  Well, Ryland LOVES those drums!!  He nearly threw a fit since I didn’t want to get them out of the closet for him.  Daddy came to the rescue and set them up for me.

Also, if you can believe this, I haven’t picked up my camera in about 3 weeks.  I just upgraded my firmware, which was supposed to give me a better “noise reduction” at a high ISO.  So, the following pics, for you photogs out there, were shot at an ISO of 1000.  I did run noiseware at about 50%, but I think they still came out pretty clear.

Curtis and Erin – the full sneak peek…

I am back from a very COLD visit to Spokane.  Going from 85 degree weather to 35 degree weather is a big change!!  I have been working really hard these past two days to get Curtis and Erin’s wedding completed before Thanksgiving.  I am oh so close!!!

C & E got married at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, AZ.  It was a warm, November Saturday and the wedding was BEAUTIFUL!!  The ceremony started at 4:00 PM, which left us some beautiful light to capture the bride and groom at their best.  The guests partied under a covered outdoor dance hall, which let the evening Arizona air breeze though.  Curtis and Erin, you have a wonderful family…thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!!
