  • Welcome to my blog! This is a place to showcase Keri Doolittle Photography images, family pictures and helpful hints for photographers. After taking a year off to enjoy family life, I am now booking weddings for the 2014 season. Please visit my website to inquire about wedding packages and pricing. Thank you for following our little 'ole blog from Denver, Colorado.

Is this really my baby?

He looks so grown up in these pictures!  He is only a little over 2 years old and these look like his Kindergarden pictures!

Today I did some “studio” lighting practice and had a very good model.  He was very cooperative, which is rare.  Maybe is was the sucker bribe.  :-)  Anyhow, here is my baby, Ryland!

Bridal Show 2009

First of all, thank you to all the brides and grooms who came to visit me at the Bridal Show!  It was great to meet all of you!  As a reminder, I only book approximately 15-20 weddings a year, so make sure to contact us as soon as possible.  I had a lot of inquires about destination wedding…YES, I do destination weddings, just fill out the contact form on the blog and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Also, for all you brides getting married in the Pacific Northwest, I come home a lot during the summer (too hot in Phoenix), so shoot me an email or fill out the contact form to find out my specials for all you PacNW brides.

Last couple reminders…book your wedding by January 29th and get a FREE Nintendo Wii!  Also, I will be drawing two names for the free engagement session sometime this week, so check back on my blog to find out who won…good luck to everyone who entered!!

Onto the pics…lots of people liked the tree with the pictures hanging down.  I rented the manzanita branch at Cactus Flower, they did a great job! I actually got this idea, along with my “hanging picture wall”, from a fellow photographer, Corine Tran, who is an amazing photographer out of New Orleans. Enjoy the pics!

Off Camera Lighting Practice

I am really intrigued by off camera lighting.  I have been doing lots of reading/studying so I can offer another type of photography to my clients.  There is a lot to learn, but the pictures can be AMAZING!!  After watching about 2 hours of the ONE LIGHT DVD, I NEEDED to practice!  Guess who with?  Yes, my favorite model, Ryland.  Once the baby arrives, I will have an official model casting call so I can spend more time in a few choice locations, rather than my backyard.

Anyhow, here are three of my favs from the evening.  Enjoy!

Seahawks vs. Cardinals Game

About a week ago we were able to go to the last regular season game of the season…it just happened to be the Hawks vs. the Cards on my husbands bday.  Being a HUGE Hawks fan, it worked out perfect!  Not only did we get to go to the game, but we got field passes and watched it from the Cardinals Suite.  The only drawback was that we couldn’t wear our Hawks gear, which is understandable.  Ryland loves the Cardinals anyway.  :-)  Here are a few pics I took while we were in the stadium.  Enjoy!

BTW – GO CARDINALS…they have advanced to the second round of the playoffs!!
