Frisco, TX Senior Photographer bio picture
  • Welcome to my blog! This is a place to showcase my work at Keri Doolittle Photography and share a bit about my family. We recently moved to Frisco, Texas after living 4 years in Colorado. We are adjusting nicely to the Texas lifestyle and I am excited to start photographing local seniors. I am now booking Class of 2014 and Class of 2015 high school seniors. Please visit my website to inquire about senior portrait packages and pricing. Thank you for following our little 'ole blog from Frisco, Texas.

Happy Birthday Gavin!

I had the pleasure of capturing Gavin’s 1st Birthday pics this weekend.  Gavin is such a sweet boy, he is already up and walking so we had to think of some creative ways to keep him on the backdrop (a rocking chair works wonders!).  After the clean pictures we decided to bust out the ‘ole birthday cake.  At first he just wanted to walk around, but after he tasted that frosting he sat perfectly in front of that cake the entire time…yummy!!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAVIN!

Janet’s Maternity STUDIO pics!

A couple posts ago, I took Janet to the Boojum Tree for an awesome outdoor maternity session. The boys (Janet’s husband and son) weren’t able to attend, so we had a second session, in a studio setting, so the boys could have some pics taken with their hot momma/wife. I normally turn most of my maternity studio pics into black and white, but I just loved the color of Janet’s shirt, so I left a lot of them in color.

To all you photographers, one of the more difficult parts of a studio setting is trying not to blend a black shirt in with a black background or else you will get a “floating” head. I made sure to get enough light on the subjects shirt to show definition/texture and then I just darkened the background with my burn tool in Photoshop. Pretty easy fix.

Janet…you are almost there, girl! You are doing great, hope you enjoy your pics (Part 2).:-)

bri - gorgeous!!

What does a photographer do on her day off?

I LOVE to golf! The in-laws are in town, so Mark and I were able to play 18 holes in BEAUTIFUL 75 degree weather while they watched the kiddos. It was WONDERFUL! I even got a little sunburned. Sorry to rub this in for all of you who are still in below freezing temperatures, don’t hate.:-)Any of you golf pros out there, feel free to give me any tips on my swing, looks like I need to work on having a straight arm in my backswing.

Janet + Boojum Tree = BEAUTIFUL maternity pics!

I had the pleasure of taking maternity pics for my good friend, Janet.  We had a blast shooting at the Boojum Tree. If you ever have a chance to shoot there, DO IT, the place is AMAZING! Tasha has given me excellent service and would definitely recommend this location to anyone!
Miss Janet (well, Mrs.), was such a tropper! We shot for nearly an hour and I had her laying down, squatting, sitting up on counters, etc. Believe me sometimes it isn’t too easy to do those things when you are with child (Katie, that was for you).
Anyhow, enjoy the pics, there are LOTS of them…Janet-congrats on your soon-to-be little girl, you look BEAUTIFUL!!
