I did this session for a friend a few days before I had Easton. Normally, I would prefer to do maternity pics outside, in natural light, but me being WAY PREGGO, I asked if they minded doing them in a “studio” setting. When I say “studio”, that means I set up my black backdrop in the playroom of our house, hooked up a few studio lights and called it good! We got some really cute pics and I am sooooo excited to meet the new addition in late March/early April! Congrats you two!!

I have been complaining lately that I don’t have any BIG prints around the house…mostly 5 x 7′s. I always encourage my clients to purchase big prints since they look sooooo good, however, I didn’t have ANY around my own house!! So, I took action and created a photo wall and I am SO HAPPY with how it turned out. The big prints are 24 x 20 gallery mounted, the side prints are 11 x 14 and eventually I will put two 8 x 10′s to each side of the “D”. Gallery Mounted prints are a new product for me, that I absolutely LOVE!! These will take the place of canvas prints. They are mounted on a 3/8″ piece of wood (probably something more technical that “wood”, but that is the best way to describe it) and are SUPER sturdy. No framing required since they have a nice beveled edge. :-) Here are the pics of the new wall:

Love your picture display!! Would you please share where you got the gallery mounts? I’ve been seeing them around but haven’t had any luck finding a place that does it. I’m moving to a new house and want to have some pics mounted like that. It just looks stunning and really showcases great photos.

Easton is now 2.5 weeks old. He is now more alert and staying awake for longer periods of time. I still can’t get over all the hair that he has, it is WILD! Here is a quick shot from about 2 days ago.
On a side note…BRIDES: I am back in the swing of things and have started scheduling both consultations and e-sessions for the spring. I still have some great dates available for the fall of 2009 and spring 2010, so feel free to give us a ring or email!

I have been collecting massive cell phone pictures over the last year and a half and they just sit there doing nothing, except take up valuable storage space on my phone. I can only have about 20 text messages come through before the bright blue “YOU HAVE TO DELETE MESSAGES” screen comes up telling me my phone is about to blow up. So, I finally took action and emailed all my pics to my hotmail account and created a collage. Of course, most of the pics are of Ryland, but there are a few other shots as well. I really need to upgrade my phone to something spiffy, like an iPhone or Blackberry, but I haven’t gotten around to that yet. Anyhow, enjoy the pics!
