When I got the call/email that my good friend, Brandi, was getting married and asked me to photograph their wedding, I was ECSTATIC!!! I met Brandi at one of my first out-of-college jobs, People to People International. She is one of those people that you immediately gravitate towards because she has such an amazing personality and a killer smile. Years passed and we’ve kept in touch via Facebook, email, etc and even the occasional jaunt to New Orleans to watch my brother play with the Saints.
Both Brandi (well, it is now Dr. Brandi) and Craig live in Alabama where Brandi works as a Development Officer for the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) and Craig is the Media Relations Director for the SEC Conference. They chose to get married at the BEAUTIFUL Durango Mountain Resort, which had an unbelievable backdrop. DMR (or Purgatory Mountain) is where Shawn White likes to do a lot of his snowboard training. Fun!

Time for some formal shots! As you can see from the ominous sky, our time was limited before the rain came. However, in true Colorado form, it only rained when we were in the car and passed through quickly. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE when there are thunderstorms in the area, the images turn out so dramatic!!
