Great article about my step-bro on life after the NFL

My step brother, Steve Gleason, had a great NFL career and we all loved going to his games. We made the trip many times to New Orleans to watch him play, but hands-down, my favorite game had to be the 2006 play-off game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Three months after my first son was born, I made the trek to NOLA with a good friend of mine (who dat, Brandi!) to watch one of the most emotional football games of my life. It was the first season New Orleans was back in the Superdome after Hurricane Katrina and the Saints were the hope of the city. It was a great game, in which the Saints WON, and the tears and emotion in the stadium after the win was AWESOME. With that win, the Saints advanced to the NFC Championship game for the first time in the franchises 40-year history. Great memories!!

Here is the article that was just written about Steve. We miss you all down in New Orleans and hope to see you soon!!

That’s awesome! What a cool insight into a post-NFL career. I have a friend in that boat, too, but that was a cool article. Thanks!
