Grandma Lucy, “The Great One”

I just returned from an emotional visit in Las Vegas, where I was saying my last goodbye’s to Grandma Lucy. Grandma was a beautiful, funny, loving, caring, supportive and amazing Grandma. She could out-do me in push-up’s, without a doubt! She was stricken with stage 4 cancer and will more than likely pass away by this weekend. I am glad I got to hold her hand and tell her I love her one more time. She will be missed. If you knew Grandma Lucy, she was quick with a joke and loved to hold her great-grandbabies. We were fortunate enough to see Grandma many times this year because she resides in Lake Havasu, so it was a quick 3-hour drive to visit. We all know that she will be in a wonderful place and pray that she will watch over our family from above. We love you Grandma Lucy!!

The family will be driving up to Lake Havasu soon for her memorial and I will more than likely return to Phoenix on Thursday, the 24th or Friday, the 25th. Thank you for your prayers and understanding.
