A couple posts ago, I took Janet to the Boojum Tree for an awesome outdoor maternity session. The boys (Janet’s husband and son) weren’t able to attend, so we had a second session, in a studio setting, so the boys could have some pics taken with their hot momma/wife. I normally turn most of my maternity studio pics into black and white, but I just loved the color of Janet’s shirt, so I left a lot of them in color.
To all you photographers, one of the more difficult parts of a studio setting is trying not to blend a black shirt in with a black background or else you will get a “floating” head. I made sure to get enough light on the subjects shirt to show definition/texture and then I just darkened the background with my burn tool in Photoshop. Pretty easy fix.
Janet…you are almost there, girl! You are doing great, hope you enjoy your pics (Part 2).![]()
