I had two portrait parties this week. This is just a good way to get lots of families in, in a short time period. Lots of families are planning on giving photos as Christmas gifts (GREAT IDEA!) and using their photos for Christmas cards.
This family was so much fun to photograph! They had a wonderful son who loved to take pictures. At only 4 years old, he did a fantastic job!! I get a lot of comments about my “polaroid” picture, so I thought he would be up for the task. BTW – I got the “polaroid” idea from Mark Brooke, who is a fantastic photographer based out of Southern California. :-) I wasn’t quite sure if a 4 year old could get the concept of covering your face and holding out a polariod pic, but I was WRONG! He did awesome!! Here is the end result:
