A Day In My Life – Part 1

So, I decided it would be fun to cart the camera around with me all day so you all can see what it is like to be me for one day.  This will come in a two part series…before naptime and after naptime.  

Our day usually starts at about 6:00 AM.  After some breakfast and Dora the Explorer, we have play “No More Monkeys Jumpin’ On The Bed” at least one time during the day.

After a little jumping, I decide to get ready.  Well, Ryland really enjoys sitting on the bathroom counter while I get ready.  He insists on playing with the water…ALL THE TIME!  Well, today was a little different.  He decided to get his hair wet.  He thought he looked so cool!!

Finally…we were ready to go…it is now 9:30 AM…yes, that is how long it takes to get ready when you have an 18 month old.  Once we were all buckled up in the car, I took some quick shots in the rear-view mirror.

First stop…PostNet.  I go there quite often to mail photography-related items.  Ryland LOVES playing with all the mailboxes, he tries REALLY HARD to get them open!!  After PostNet, we needed to go to the grocery store.  Well, on the way is Blockbuster.  Ryland stops…looks at a poster and says “Momma”.  Yep, Ryland, that tall, good-lookin’ blonde is momma.  :-)  A few posters down he stops and says “Dadda”.  Ummm, no Ryland, that is not dadda…he looks like he is about to take someone out.  It was funny, nonetheless.

Ah, made it to the grocery store!  The car-cart didn’t last long, as soon as he was inside, he wanted to get out, go figure.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jello pudding!  It HAS to be Jello…I bought the generic version the other day…not so good.  On our way out, Ryland enjoyed looking at his reflection.

Time to go home…Ryland was OUT within about 2 min. of getting in the car…now it is naptime.  Part 2 will be posted a little later today.  Hope you enjoyed my day, so far.  :-)
